Hey! I’m Meagan Glover and welcome to my portfolio website. I’m from a little-big town called Shreveport located in the northwest area of “Da Boot” also known as Louisiana. I’m a Fall '17 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcasting. I stayed behind in Cajun Country after graduation because months before graduating, I began working for a local TV station, News 15 (KADN/KLAF) where I began building my media experience outside of school. From here, I enhanced my experience in working with studio cameras, working with audio during newscasts, being out in the field with cameras shooting stories and doing live shots, producing segments and even having on-air experience.

Just recently (June 2019) I moved right down the road, an hour away, to Alexandria, LA where I was offered my first sports reporter/anchor position! I currently cover #CenLAsports involving local high schools, colleges and the New Orleans Saints.

You may ask, what sparked my interest in sports. Well, my family is full of athletes. My father and uncles were athletes back in their younger days, my first cousins played basketball in high school, one of which is still playing ball for South Alabama University, and I myself was a high school athlete where I did track and field. So a mixture of being involved in sports over the years is what caused me to be so passionate about it and I decided that being in sports media is what will make me happy beyond my career, but for the rest of my life.
